I work as a Spinning Indoor Cycling Instructor and have developed off season fitness training programs to prepare bicyclists for the spring season. I like to use heart rate training to work in the off season. I find that too many people train too hard too often and I have also been guilty of this in the past. My program always starts by getting all the participants to recover take a couple of weeks to relax, not stop working out. Recovery is working out at a low intensity level less than 60% of max heart rate.
After taking a minimum of two weeks on the recovery program. We move to Aerobic base building, then strength, intervals, and longer endurance rides. The fitness training program lasts 12 to 15 weeks and usually at that point the riding season has started here in Michigan and we finish up with a half century (50 mile ride) outdoors. It is a great way to start the outdoor riding season on a strong note.

Im also 15 and i last September i weighed 145 pounds and lost 33 pounds and i now weigh 112.
To loose weight it is very simple. Don’t listen to diets or plans or anything. Just be natural .
Ill give you my best tips :
-eat smaller and healthier portions throughout the day but more frequently (ex- eat 5 meals a day but make your meals half the size) this will speed up your metabolism and
-drink TUNS of water
-walk every day for 30 min, and also do a 30 min workout thats high impact on the body (dance, ect.)
-Pick 1 day on the weekend and 1 day in the week to take a break from your workouts
-Pick 1 day each week to indulge and not worry about your diet (make sure its only one day a week and it will not affect you at all)
-do not pick at food! Put what your gonna eat in your plate and don’t eat anything else! especially when making the food.

I really want to start eating healthy and exercising, but the thing is, I will exercise and eat healthy maybe once a month and then lose the drive to continue that pattern. I don’t know if there are tricks or something I can use to help me stay on this healthy lifestyle, but I’m willing to try anything. I’ve gained 10 pounds this last year and I’m not looking to make that a pattern! Please help!!

a different variety of good foods
a "reward" food at the end of each week if you do well

I am a teenager with a problem and I need help so please help me… I’m desperate. I have Lupus and when it flares up I have to take prednisone which causes weight gain. I want a higher self esteem. There are some good tips listed in the answers, here are a few more. Recent studies have shown that having eggs for breakfast will increase energy during the day and act as a natural weight suppressant. Have listed an article on using eggs as a weight loss food. Tracking your daily food intake and daily exercise will help a lot in determining how much you are really eating and working off each day. Have also noted a article that list a few easy ways to work exercise into your routine.
i’d like to lose weigh, but i dont want to have to kill myself to do it …. do any of yall know an effective diet plan and exercise program that could help me with this? i’d appreciate it.
Dr Diana Schwarzbein,an endocrinologist,has probably one of the most sane diet and exercise plans there is. she promotes balanced meals which include a fairly equal portion or protein,fats,whole grain carbs,and non starchy carbs. she is also against overexercising.
since she is an endocrinologist she teaches to get the body back in hormonal balance which controls the metabolism.
she has a website. i personally follow her plan from her books,The Schwarzbein Principle I and II, and lose about 1lb a week without any great effort.it’s more just a change in eating rather than any calorie restriction. the books even have a week of meal plans which even though i don’t follow exactly are a great help.
you could read the readers reviews on amazon to get an idea of how well the plan works for others too.
I had a baby nine months ago and was almost 300 lbs when I had her. I now am 238 and feel great! In about three or four months ive lost 20 + lbs and I’m just wondering what is a healthy weight to lose each month?
2lbs is fine, maybe 4, but not beyond.
If you loose more than this, you will gain them back quickly.
actually there isn’t any drink that helps you to lose weight or any other product or food. to lose weight healthy nutrition and cardio is what you need. now for some healthy drinks :water, healthy natural juice
thats all. like it or not the only way is cardio-workout, and healthy nutrition. thats my advise, and don’t get your hopes on healthy drinks cause at the end you won’t see any difference .
